Woodcarving Classes
This carving class is for anyone who would like to learn about Old World historic Swedish whittling and wood carving from German Alps. Learn some of the history of wood carving from Europe. You will be given instructions on how to use knives and gouges. Learn how to sharpen your tools. Learn how to choose a subject, find the proper local carving woods and do the figure lay out. You will also be shown how to whittle figurines. Instructor was taught in Munich Germany & Bavarian Alps in 1971-2, and has been a commercial wood carver, designer, craftsman and sculptor for 30 years. Call us at 801-571-6095.
